Our Future

WCTU needs young people who will take up the responsibility of speaking out in their communities to uphold Christian values and protect against alcohol use and drug abuse.

Using mediums such as SMS, Facebook, YouTube and many other innovative techniques, we need to reach society with up-to-date information and resources. Most importantly, we need to develop relationships with children and youth, helping them to know that they are valued and of worth.

Total Abstinence, practised by concerned citizens, could change the moral, economic, and family life picture of the nation.

• It could improve the health of the next generation.

• It could reduce the tragic road toll.

• It could lesson the number of inmates of prisons, hospitals and mental institutions.

• It could prevent Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders and the associated lifetime financial and social costs to society.
