C. Out and About!

The WCTU of Queensland recently held its annual convention in Bundaberg with the theme of "Looking Back, Going Forward".

When the Post Office was being built, WCTU was also building its membership into what was then a very strong Union.

The War Memorial reminds us of the Resolution passed at their convention:

"Whereas nations world-wide are engaged in conflicts and wars to the detriment of their citzens and

Whereas real and lasting peace can only be realised by those who know the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, as their Saviour, therefore

BE IT RESOLVED that the members of the WCTU of Queensland advocate that Peace be achieved by diplomatic means and negotiations rather than by force and

that the members of the WCTU of Queeensland faithfully proclaim God's message of love and salvation to all with whom they come in contact.
