D. 1st PNG National WCTU Convention: "Forward Together - Together Everyone Achieves More"

A Youth Drama Contest was held on the Saturday afternoon. Two dramas were on DVD and one group presented a drama live. They depicted the effects of alcohol on PNG society showing the breakdown of families, domestic violence, child abuse and drug trafficking. The group of young people presented a powerful drama which had a big impact on the audience. They won the K50 prize for their drama. A school group who presented on DVD were also given No Drugs 4 Me armbands.
